Department Administration & Oversight

In this role, Tim Phillips has provided day-to-day operational leadership, managing personnel, budgeting, internal investigations, training standards, and interagency coordination to ensure the Sheriff’s Office operates efficiently, responsibly, and with accountability to the public.

Operations & Patrol Leadership

Throughout his career, Tim has supervised patrol operations, command staff, and investigative units, ensuring deputies are properly trained, equipped, and supported while maintaining consistent enforcement and public safety standards across the county.

Training, Tactical & Command Experience

Tim is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and a certified SWAT Commander, Firearms Instructor, and Armorer. He has led advanced training initiatives, tactical operations, and critical incident response, emphasizing professionalism, preparedness, and officer safety.
